Bob Black Jack Shoulda Been on my last list

The world-record-setting 3yo made a sparkling comeback in the Gr1 Malibu on Friday, going wire-to-wire in a solid 1:20.2 for 7.5f. Bob Black Jack set the early pace in the Kentucky Derby, which totally sucked him dry, and he has been under the radar ever since. If the Malibu is any indication, he’ll be one of the top sprinters next year as well. Also, can anybody explain to me why Colonel John was in a 7.5 furlong race??
