This is my first real blog post! Woo-hoo! For the past several years I have been on sites like myspace, nice social networking sites but not really serious blogs. I have put a lot of effort into researching the thoroughbreds and spend quite a bit of my time at work daydreaming about the races, horses and tracks that I hope to visit one day.
I am not a professional handicapper; in fact, I have a lot to learn about Average Joe claimers and allowance horses. But despite my shortcomings in that area, I have a stellar record of picking Kentucky Derby winners! Since 1995, I have correctly picked 8 of them, including Grindstone and War Emblem.
I hope to add 2007’s winner to my list, and even better, I will be there, in the Infield, to cheer my horse to the wire. So here’s post position 1 in the Kentucky Derby blogosphere…may it be the start of something great!
